HEADS. 2007, Colón Square, Madrid.
220 heads made out of plaster were taken and abandoned around Colon’s monument in Madrid. We managed to move them thanks to the participation of about 70 or 80 volunteers. We occupied a public space without permission, “invading the invasor” with an army of heads, given to the city. The heads were moved around, taken home or broke by the passers by. We generated a contrast between the monument and our intervention.
